OUR HISTORY

Pinnacle Exploration Corp. was formed in 1986 by James M. (Mike) Hagan and his father George W. Hagan.  After graduating from Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Arts in Geology in 1957, George worked for many years in the oilfield service industry for Dresser Industries, eventually working his way up to Regional Manager of the Continental Region.  He left to start his own company in 1972 and bought production, drilled wells, and worked as a Consulting Geologist.  When Mike graduated from Southern Illinois University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science in Geology, he began by working alongside his father George, learning from his father's experience.  The two then formed Pinnacle Exploration Corp. and began to acquire operations and interest in wells in Illinois and Indiana.  Today, the next generation of Pinnacle Exploration Corp. carries on, with Mike Hagan and his son Weston continuing as a father and son team.  Wes graduated from Lincoln Christian University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, and soon after the passing of George, joined his father Mike in 2015.   Today, Pinnacle continues it's commitment to offer quality investment opportunities through our current operations and drilling prospects.
